Obtaining a Water Analysis
NATA accreditation provides a means of determining, formally recognising and promoting the competence of facilities to perform specific types of testing, inspection, calibration, and other related activities.
Accreditation is distinct from certification, which focuses on an organisation's overall compliance with systems and products standards rather than technical competence. NATA accreditation involves stringent policies and testing facilities with no room for error.
The criteria for determining a facility's competence are based on the relevant international standard (eg ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189, ISO/IEC 17020) and include: the qualifications, training and experience of staff; correct equipment that is properly calibrated and maintained; adequate quality assurance procedures; appropriate sampling practices, and so on.
On the right is an example of the Trace elements that are tested in a 60 point analysis. Also included within the report, are the Australian Drinking Water Recommendation Levels - which help us to gauge whether the water tested fits within the recommended guidelines and parameters for safe drinking water.

Important changes to our Analytical & Interpretation Service
Effective immediately we will no longer be processing water samples for testing.
Our growth over the past few years is placing extreme demands on available man hours. Although water analysis is a vital part of our business, we
cannot continue to offer "not for profit" services.
We believe there are enough lab services around Australia who can provide short and long versions of water analysis.
We will continue to offer a verbal or email, but billable interpretation service for water analysis reports provided by external laboratories.
Effective immediately, we will be billing consultations at $40.00 + GST for the first 15 minutes and $2.00 + GST per minute after the first 15 minutes
We realise these charges may add further strain on your ability to gain sales in a competitive environment.
With this in mind, we are offering a rebate of the full $40.00 charge from equipment that is ordered as a direct result of the consultation and within
21 days of that consultation, (based on Invoice date). This offer only extends to the initial 15 minute consultation fee and does not apply to any excess billing time beyond
the first 15 minute charge.
So in summary - we will be charging a consult fee of $40.00 + GST for a 15 minute analysis interpretation, plus $2.00 + GST per minute after the first 15 minutes.
When an order over the value of $400.00 is placed relating to the quotation pertaining to that analysis report, we will deduct the original $40 from
the quoted price of the equipment. This will not be credited to your account, it will be reduced from the original equipment quotation.
We believe this is a fair way to more effectively account for our time spent offering free interpretations, that do not result in the sale of equipment.
Effective immediately, when you send a water analysis to us for interpretation it must be accompanied by an order number for the following.
GT29-1 Analysis Interpretation Service Minimum charge 15 minutes
If the consult runs beyond 15 minutes the following item will be added to that invoice
GT29-2 Analysis Interpretation Service
Excess charge @ $2.00 + GST per minute
For trade customers that do not run an account, a credit card payment must accompany the analysis.
If you have any questions pertaining to any of the above, feel free to contact us.
